NarrativeJoined Company D 3rd Minnesota Infantry no Oct 23, 1861 at Fort Snelling for 3 years or duration of the war. Captured at Mufreesboro, Tennessee on 13 July 1862, paroled at Warren Barracks, Tennessee on 15 July 1862. He was present for duty at Benton Barracks, Missouri on 18 August 1862 as a paroled man. Died from disease at the General Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Buried at the Memphis National Cemetery. |
